Thank A Vet Walk

In recognition of Veteran’s Day, The UpState PathFinders, an American Volkssport Association club, is sponsoring a “Thank A Vet Walk” on Friday, November 10, 2017 in observation of Veterans Day, along Cleveland Park’s Swamp Rabbit Trail and surrounding area.

Bring your family and thank our Veterans for all they do to protect us and our great nation. If you’re a veteran, come out and join us as we honor you and your family. After the walk, stay and have lunch in the park with our veterans and club members and enjoy Jimmy John’s box lunch! (FREE for the first 50 registrants)and a Magic show performed by the “Magic Man”, Paul DiLella.

For those not familiar with American Volkssporting Association or volksmarches, this is a different kind of walk! It originated in Germany and was brought to the United States in the 1970’s. There are now over 1,850 walks in the United States and walking clubs in nearly every state. The UpState PathFinders is South Carolina’s only American Volkssporting Club.

To the first 25 registered participants, we are giving a free 20 oz. Pilsner Glass with the UpState PathFinders logo. So, come on out, get a little exercise, met some new friends and get to know some of our veterans in the Greenville Community.

We hope to see you there.
